About Project

The project commenced in the enchanting city of Tbilisi, Georgia, before gracefully progressing to Washington, D.C., symbolizing the intricate and profound interconnections between the two nations rooted in a mutual appreciation for art and culture. The first event of the project “Rooted in Culture” was held to celebrate the Independence Day of Georgia in Tbilisi and Washington, D.C. The celebration paid tribute to contemporary Georgian art and culture, welcoming a distinguished array of esteemed guests. The event was hosted by the honorable Georgian Ambassador, David Zalkaliani. Additionally, the American cultural attaché personally attended the opening of the exhibition in Tbilisi.

Exhibition & Live Art Performance

This exceptional project is showcasing the creations of 25 renowned Georgian artists, offering participants an exclusive chance to explore the enchanting world of Georgian contemporary art and aesthetics. A special feature of the occasion includes a live art performance by Georgian artists, who are painting an ancient wine vessel to emphasize Georgia’s esteemed traditions.
