The Art Cross Foundation’s visionary “Rooted in Culture” project celebrates the power of cultural exchange in fostering unity among nations. By bridging the artistic landscapes of Georgia and the United States, this initiative seeks to deepen mutual appreciation and understanding while celebrating the beauty of diversity. The event serves as a poignant reminder of the transformative nature of art, which transcends boundaries and nurtures connections on a global scale.

The exhibition received tremendous recognition and response from the attendees. The unique works created by contemporary Georgian artists garnered significant approval and interest. Approximately sixty works, along with a photo exhibition depicting the history of Tbilisi, were presented.
Moreover, a cultural exchange took place at the Library of Congress, where a 150-year-old Qvevri was painted through a live performance involving artists Sergo Tbileli and Jacob Feige. The attending community had the opportunity to sign the Qvevri as a memento.
We are proud to mention that the Rooted in Culture project’s exhibitions in Tbilisi and Washington were hugely successful. Presenting contemporary Georgian art in the United States of America on Georgia’s Independence Day allowed the general public to experience a truly unique collection of contemporary Georgian art.
